he’s nearly 44, a hall of famer for sure, a living legend of the fight game, the man who tyson couldn’t beat in 2 fights, the first man to unify the cruise division the only 4 time heavyweight champ of the world, most of his fights have been world title fights, he’s the rich’s fighter of all time what more does he want to do???
he’s licence was taken from him 2 years ago but he’s managed to get it back and says he’s goner unify the heavyweight division again, my heart sung when i saw the interview and it seems don turner will not be in his corner. boxer are the most deluded of all sports men, even when everyone around them says there finished they still beleave they’ve got a couple of big fights left. i’m a huge fan of evanders he’s my favirote fighter of all time, i loved watching when i was a kid and as a man a watched him beat tyson when at that point he was said to be past his best, THAT WAS 10 YEARS AGO
Holyfield - mucho respect to him, but he really needs to hang up those gloves. He is slurring already.
Another small point - he was 4 time heavyweight titleholder (not all as undisputed world champ. In my book, ‘World Champion’ means just that, not just holding one crooked body’s belt)
Oh, God.. Hasn’t Holyfield lost like 7 out of his past 9 fights? The poor guy must already be suffering from something saying that he’s going to unify.
Good grief.
who really cares though, I mean boo hoo… he is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, if he want’s to make sure he’ll never be able to enjoy it then that’s his damn problem, he’s just incredibly stupid if he actually believes he can be champ again in any way shape or form, I dont care how many punches he’s taken the guy isn’t actually retarded, so it’s his own fault because he should know better.. He is dillusional, think’s that god has told him he will win again… IMO(perhaps taking it too far), you may as well feel sorry for suicide bombers.. They are both acting with about the same amount of reason and common sense.
I appreciate that you pointed that out. :coolclick: I mean, come on, the 4th title he speaks of is after he lost the WBA to lewis, the fight immediatly after he got to beat Ruiz for the same belt.
Holyfield is a two time heavyweight champion. To set the recored staright. (I will also accept some arguements that he is a 3 time champion, although that is not my belief.)
where our friend who is a boxer trains at is also where holyfield works out also, i think he wants to fight some time this summer or fall. He is here in houston working with ronnie shields at savannah gym also where raul marquez kasim ouma and juan diaz train, he looks great, his body is in great shape, he looks quick and spars well. He is a great guy and now that i know him as a person i do want him to become the undisputed hw champion.
