Exclusive Zab Judah Interview!!!!

GL: What are your thoughts on the hearing that took place last Thursday?

Zab Judah: “It was messed up. I’m very disappointed with how everything went down.
I was expecting a lot more from the Nevada commission. I’m taking this whole
Thing real serious you know what I’m saying? That’s why I and my entire team stayed in Vegas until Thursday night. We stayed in Vegas just for the hearing and all it really was the Roger Mayweather hearing. They said that since they were a part time commission that they would have to bring a specialist in the break down the footage. And yo, at the hearing they said they released 20% of Mayweather’s purse last Tuesday and the rest of it the day of the hearing but they’re still holding my purse up. I have no idea what they’re going to do next, but all I know is they’re still holding my purse.”

Gal: There have been rumblings that the purse they are holding up is all going to the IRS, and that you are in financial woes right now. Is that true?

Zap Judah: " That’s just a rumor Floyd May weather was starting, but hell no that isn’t true. My money isn’t nobody’s business but mine. I will say this and people can count on this, Zab Judah made a lot more that what Floyd Mayweather Jr wants you to believe. Floyd should just count his money, keep his mouth shut and pray he doesn’t have to face me again."

GL: Zab, not for nothing after the first four rounds Floyd seemed to take control of the fight…

Zab Judah: (cutting in) "Look ain’t nobody trying to take nothing away from what Floyd did, he won the fight and he was the better man that night, I just feel like the odds was stacked against me you know what I’m saying. First of all, I knocked him down and they ruled it a slip…

GL: (cutting in) But even with the knockdown…

Zab Judah: "But let me finish Greg, let me finish. I knocked him down and I was in complete control of the fight and it’s like I said Floyd is a great fighter and I ain’t taking nothing away from him.

GL: Some people feel that fouls you committed in the tenth round were your way of trying to get out of the fight.

Zab Judah: “I know I’m not a dirty fighter, but boxing people knows fouls are a part of boxing. I wasn’t flagrantly trying to hit him low and I don’t care how many times Bob Arum, or anyone else says it the punch behind his head wasn’t on purpose either. We’re taught to follow up our punches and Richard Steele ain’t separate us yet. You could watch a thousand boxing matches you going to see a hundred low blows, and hundred head butts but i bet you probably won’t see a trainer come into the ring before the round is over and his fighter not get DQ’d.”

GL: You said you didn’t throw the low blow or rabbit punch intentionally but what about you’re running around the ring to hit Roger Mayweather and Leonard Ellerbe. Was that intentionally?

Zab Judah: "It’s like this nobody would be talking about none of this if Roger Mayweather would have kept his ass outside of the ring were he belonged. He comes into the ring and started cursing at me calling me a mtherfker and then I went to the neutral corner but when they were going at my pops what was I supposed to do? I don’t care what anyone says if I’m standing right there and two people for the other team are in the ring trying to go after my pops, I ain’t going to be the one who let’s it go down like that. Not me homey.

GL: When do you expect to hear from your people to figure out what your next move is going to be?

Zab Judah: "I’m not sure, but we have to wait for the Nevada Commission their move before we make our move. Don King is a great promoter and he spoke well on my behalf throughout the whole promotion and at the hearing so I’m sure he’s going to be coming back with something to get us right back in the ring for a title ASAP.

GL: Some find it hypocritical that Don King and your team are fighting for the DQ, when several rules weren’t upheld when you were allowed to keep your IBF title following the Baldomir fight.

Zab Judah: “I don’t got nothing to do with any of the sanctioning body stuff. I leave that to my promoter and my managers, I just worry about fighting. The fight with Floyd ain’t happen because of a belt, it happened because it was a great fight that a lot of people wanted to see. HBO just said it made almost 16M and I think a rematch would be even bigger. But mark my words though Greg, I will be the welterweight champion again and it’s like Don says, How long? Not long!”

GL: So you want a rematch with Mayweather?

Zab Judah: “Definitely. Definitely. We’re going to fight again I promise you that .It might not be right away because Arum and them is pushing that Margarito fight but I promise you we’ll fight again. And there’s no way in the world that Floyd and Margarito is going to do bigger on PPV than we just did. I’m ready to knockout whoever dons king and the networks want me to fight to get my rematch. If Ricky Hatton wants to fight let’s do this, Kostya Tszyu wants a rematch, tell me when. It doesn’t matter to me, I’m just going to keep my ass in shape and once this whole mess in Vegas is over and done with, I’ll be ready for Don’s call.”

This interview, which is done by a tough sonuvabitch who seems to know where to stand on the good side of opinion,
just proves that Judah is a thug idiot. haha I can take a lotta quotes and make it look bad, but that’s just too easy.
He won’t answer why he didn’t fight past the fifth round, only saying “I take nothing away from Mayweather!”

I just saw the replay again, the last rounds, and he was hitting Mayweather at will, with his jab. I don’t like watching that fight already. Judah doesn’t have it mentally, he could have dominated the last rounds effectively. Also, that was the slowest I seen Mayweather, in those last rounds. Anyone else? ???

Another Note:

I seriously doubt that. 350,000 buys isn’t that good for the future star. It’s good, but it’s not WACKA WACKA WACKA good.

If anybody here watches Telefutura, like I do, then they know that they cover boxing on their prime news network. They show the weigh-in of a big mexican matchup and everything. They get all into it, interviews, video clips, and all. I get excited when I watch their boxing news of a big fight! And I KNOW they will have full coverage of pre-fight hype of a Mayweather Margarito if that fight happens.

And I just wanted to say to you guys who think your the b*dass of watching boxing,
… I WATCH THE MEXICAN CHANNEL FOR MY BOXING ENTERTAINMENT ALSO!!!

And I just know the bad words in Spanish! ;D

Not saying a Mayweather Margarito will the break Oscar Trinidad record, but it will certainly contend with 350,000 buys, if not, probably even SURPASSING it. I won’t be surprised if it does.

I must say…if i saw a bunch of guys running at my dad then id jump in to. I would think it would be a natural reaction.

This guy is so delusional it’s sad. He still really thinks he’s so good, and that people want to see him fight . . . . . but we don’t!!!1 Scab “Loser” Judah sucks!!!

But he is right about one thing. PBF-Margarito wont do as many PPV buys as he and PBF did.

you will all be silenced one day

I think what Sal meant was : Can we all have a moment of silence today…Judah deserves to be flushed.

>:mad

The reason Zab didn’t let his hands go in the later part of the fight is because he was scared to get hit. He was doing a good job early and was the agressor but whel Floyd started nailing him he went into a defensive mode and stayed there for the rest of the fight. Throwing jabs here and there but making sure he didn’t get counterd. He looked like Hector Camacho in there hope less and just trying to survive.

Yup Zab don’t like to get hit. And it shows big time. He looks good until someone hits him back and then he shows his true character.

I’m pretty sure I was saying that Zab was attacking the guy that had his father and that, that was the reason why he got involved while he was about to go into the neutral corner. But nooooo…everyone just ignored it and thought I was just saying it, I also said he didn’t hit Roger Mayweather and still, noooooooo… But it seems I was right about both  and not a damn thing you can do about it :lickish:

damn right, he hit ellerby, and heres the proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wn-yPbsgMRA

I think Zab Judah expressed himself well in this interview.
