I just watched the fight between Darchinyan and Maldonado and Darchinyan looked like a beast…TKO in the 8th..I’ve seen him fight before and the results were pretty much the same…He is even talking about going up in weight…jr bantamweight or bantamweight…said he just built the shelves in his home to hold the 12 titles…I think he might be able to pull it off…I know he leaves himself open which will make fights very interesting, but he doesn’t seem to be affected by the punches…opinions?
I know…It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a small guy with so much power…I think it will follow him as he goes up in weight…I look forward to his next fight…
The latest WBC rankings for June list Arce as the No 1 contender for the WBC Super Flyweight Title. So maybe he is challenging for that title soon, and is no longer the Interim WBC Flyweight Champ.
Arce is moving up in weight soon and I think it would be a great fight too but I think Arce neutralises his power with the sheer number of power punches he throws, Darchinyan is very very powerful but leaves himself far too open.
Vics got some work to do, no doubt about that. But he is a serious chance against Arca. Vics got tremendous power in both hands and im yet to seem him in a boring fight. His style just wont allow it. :boxingmatch:
Can arce hurt vic is the question…i havent seen him hurt yet and even if you can outbox him like pacheco did most of the time…vic will always catch up with ya.
He looked a bit wild, but he also looked invincible and he was throwing some incredibly hard shots. It’s the first time I’ve seen a fighter floor himself by missing a punch in such a dramatic fashion!
Go watch Lennox Lewis-Shannon Briggs. The fight was stopped after Briggs missed a punch and fell. As for, Darchinyan? He looked very immpressive. But I think Arce body attack would break him down and stop him late in a very exciting fight.
