Brazil didn’t look too great tonight… every time Australia launched an attack, they were troubled… although, I seem to remember saying something similar in 2002 before they went on to win it, haha.
I knew we would lose and i was proud of the effort we put in against the world champions, maybe we stuffed some of our chances to get into the game or maybe brazil was just too good.
Brazil may not be playing to their potential like England but the difference is that Brazil played Croatia and Australia,2 very good teams. England played a Paraguay team who just don’t look like scoring EVER and Trinidad and Tobago. Lookat the difference in the level of competition!

It’s not just their history,I am talking about their current teams too and Croatia and Aussies are far superior to Tand T and Paraguay.I agree Brasilia should notbe struggling as much as they are but Croats are a tough teamt o break down,I mean look how many times their defence has played together and the Aussies played well but made few chances. England were just too poor against T and T and were lucky not to be behind.
