Smith, who fought as high as middleweight on the reality show The Contender, wants to make his presence known in the welterweight division again. He is not only excited to return to the ring, but also to his previous weight division and he thinks that the City of Brotherly Love is just the place, to get the right sparring, from other hungry and experienced fighters. He is also very excited to be under the tutelage, and watchful eye, of legendary fighter, and promoter Bernard Hopkins.
