Well - looks like Guinn’s handlers have realised that he is not up to much and have decided to either:
a) get a payday out of him against a well known opponent who is unlikely to seriously damage him
b) get him back in the picture by beating someone as flawed as he is
I would like to say the same about Harrison, but I understand that he handles himself (easy boy!)
There really is no way back for whoever loses this fight.
They should both try to hire Roger Mayweather in their corner so he can run in and get them disqualified when they start to lose!!!
What are people’s views on this very tarnished matchup between two very tarnished ‘fighters’??
danny williams comprehensively beat audley yet he gets matt ’ good boxer, key word = good’ skelton for a small pay day yet harrison gets a big bucks bout against someone as lazy as he is in America
Should be an interesting fight. Both fighters should really be in the top 10 but they just lack the motivation or heart to really be a fighter.
Maybe this could mark a turning point for one of them. This is still the biggest name other than Williams who Harrison has fought and a win will restore some credibility to him.
I reckon Harrison will get a UD. Nothing to set the pulses racing or to get him much attention, but a small step on the long journey back.
I’m one of the few who actually wants Harrison to fufil his potential I think. I know he’s an arrogant knob, or has been in the past, but he’s still British and has the talent to do something in the fight game. ets all hope the Williams loss has dented his pride and got him into a fighting frame of mind.
Defeat for either fighter here and they can say goodbye to their careers…
This has potential to be a great heavyweight fight.
But this could also be the most boring fight. Hopefully Audley goes for the knockout and goes all out to look spectacular. OR Guinn, one of them need to step up!
