Shearer has achieved on his potential and fulfilled his talent, but his career IMO has been full of underachievement.

For such a good player he should have so much more.

Saying Shearer has underachieved in any sense is def more on the mark than saying Giggsy has underachieved.

I reckon Rich’s comment is a lot more controversial ;D

Saying Giggsy has underachieved is like saying

“Linford Christie has always been a slow f*cker and has a small cock” ;D

Shearer is the greatest premiership striker.
About winning stuff, you can look at it 2 ways i reckon…1, he won little due to where he played, or 2, he was more interested in club loyalty then winning trophies, and fighting to get the club he played for up to the top to win the trophies, instead of going to a club already at the top.
