I’ve made it into the money on 1 table “sit & go” tourniments just checking & folding and letting other players overexpose themselves and eliminating eachother. Plus, you get a pretty good read on who is actually overplaying their hands after 3 or 4 trips around the table. Since the top 3 places get paid (out of 9 players) you can easily get the table down to 4 players before having to make a move.
