Mayweather would trounce Hatton

in my humble opinion, mayweather isnt all that good. im sorry but in his fight against de la hoya he was on the back foot for at least 95 per cent of the fight…de la hoya fought like a champion, and in my eyes still is the champion. mayweather fought like sugar ray robinson did against marin hagler. true mayweather was evasive, but lets face it, he didnt win the fight.

i really do believe that hatton would trouble mayweather, maybe not win, but definitley worry him enough to be on the back foot consistently, and possibly enough to win by points, but the american press would always rubbish anything ricky does, because pbf is their sweetheart.
ricky is undoubtedly one of the best fighters out there at the moment, but whereas mayweather can do no wrong, hatton can do no right; “he has to fight someone worth fighting” etc…the usual bile comes in the form of

“this fight is the biggest test of his career..”

rubbish…pbf would have one of the hardest fights of his career, due to rickys ability to continually turn up the heat, and shift up the gears…look at how pbf winced and ran away from de la hoya, and now we have ricky, who lets not forget, took kostya tszyu’s right hand on the chin every round, and still forced him to retire on his stool.

pbf is an excellent boxer, but thats precisely the crux of the matter, pbf is a boxer and a great one…ricky is an acceptable boxer, but a damn legendary fighter. he got guts, and hes hungry.

id vote ricky to win by a majority decision or by making pbf retire on his stool.
