I think this IS a 50/50 fight. Ricky saying Castillo is one of the top p4p fighters is delusional yes, but don’t under-rate Castillo. The guy has undoubted quality and lots of power. I can see him shaking Ricky up once or twice. Castillo has a point to prove to everybody. He says he can still live with the best, he wants to put things right after the weight making incidents. He’s gonna be fired up with the death of Corrales and his brother.
I also agree with Gymbo though, it’s getting tiresome with the promises of good performances. If he was answering questions then fair play, but he should get his head down and not focus too much on the expectations. It’s the extra pressure on him which contributes a bit to his bad performances. He needs to try and ignore that pressure and he won’t do that if he’s going round saying he’s gonna be a new fighter, etc.
